Social Media Marketing can be very frustrating. There is so much to post, like, share and re-tweet.There is no end to it. You never feel you have done enough. But thanks to the technology, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
You can automate some simple tasks and save a lot of time. Here are some repetitive tasks that I automate on daily basis
1 – Automate Scheduling of Your Content
Don’t just sit on the computer and post your content. You can automate scheduling content using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite and sprout social.
2 – Schedule recurring Tweets
We all know the benefits of tweeting same content multiple times. Use a tool like Tweet Jukebook or Social Oomph to auto schedule tweets in a queue. Your evergreen content will be shared over and over again.
3 – Automate Sharing of Your New Blog Posts
Use Dlvr.it or Twitterfeed to automate the publishing of your blog posts to social media channels. Every time you publish a new blog post, it will be shared on all of your social media channels.
4 – Automate Content Curation
Content curation is a huge part of our social media strategy. Use tools like Feedly and Paper.li and have the curated content come to you. Pick what you like and then easily share it on your social media networks.
5 – Automate Influencer Outreach
If you have mentioned influencers in your blog post, you should at least let them know. Use a simple tool called Notifier from contentmarketer.io to automate your twitter outreach. (I have been using this tool a lot recently)
6 – Automate Twitter DM
You should be very careful with this one since any sales pitch will be ignored. However, you can use apps like Crowdfire to create an automated Twitter DM (how about a simple thank you?)
Now over to you. Are you using any social media automation tools? Do you have any favorites?
